Department of PEDODONTICS AND PREVENTIVE DENTISTRY

Overview

The department of Pedodontics and preventive dentistry started in the year 2001, with a vision to provide the comprehensive and preventive oral health care to children of all age group and adolescents, including special children and underprivileged children.

The undergraduate course started in the year 2001 with an intake of 40 students per year. With the need to provide a specialty care, the post graduate course started in the year 2012 with 2 PG seats per year.

The department is well equipped with well experienced faculty to guide the UG and PG students. It has many national and international publications to its credit.

It conducts regular camps and has adopted many government schools and autistic centers and treats patients there by emphasizing on preventive care.
